I was having a quiet weekend with Kerry being away in Milton Keynes til mum rang me around 2pm saturday afternoon asking if i'd like to sleep over and then we can go to a car-boot early sunday, i said i had planned on going to a stitchathon on sunday afternoon, so we make plans for me arriving around tea time. We watched Eurovision, which wasnt too bad this year, the winner being a surprise for us! then afterwards watched the recordings of BGT! yes tracey, i did watch it and i will be every night next week! lol Anyway so sunday morning we went off to Dene park, nowt much there again, but i bought a couple of little craft things, and when i say little, i meant it lol. then went to The Range for some specialist glue and Dunelm for a nosey and ending up buying a box for my finished cards to sell in lol. The stitchathon was being held at Dazal on Newland Avenue (go to FB for that!) where i was nearly eating cooked mould!!! i got a replacement panini and a free milkshake, this was while i was stitching, so i couldnt exactly refuse and walk out, i was there to raise funds for Ghana! I enjoyed my little session, and the photo's are up on their FB page! I have tagged myself incase you want a nosey, come find me lol.
Did anyone else experience the rapid and horrendous Hailstone earlier today!!! I couldnt believe it when i saw it through the open door of Dazal! Thought i was in USA for a bit lol! Anyone for Golf???
I will post a pic of my stitching on FB later or even here once i have fathomed it out, not posted any pics yet, but will do!
