I have been thinking about what to take to this new craft group of mine, seeing as i will have beginners there that i will have to teach, and i didnt really want to start people off from scratch. My advert says "informal crafting get-together" which i'd hoped would bring along more experienced crafters so that we can all have a natter over a cuppa and do our own thing! ah well, so is life. I have been putting together some craft kits out of my own stock ( i have so much i could run a shop lol) and hopefully will get some ideas off them so that i can maybe plan a better session next week! I have been downloading loads of patterns which i will test out myself first, then get them to copy what i've done. I have also put my name down for a Breast Cancer Strawberry Tea Day, the kit will arrive at my home and then all i have to do is get everybody in for tea and strawberries and maybe sell some cards as well (lol) all good fun in the name of charity! Breast cancer is what my gran died of, and she died when my mum was 10! I have never known a gran or grandad, but have grown up around people of that age and sometimes wished they were lol! Even today, there is an aged fellow i like the humour of, he is 73 and comes to my genealogy group, i seem to get on well with older folk for some reason lol.
